During our recent Christmas getaway to Bretterhotel in Brienz, we experienced a delightful retreat surrounded by stunning countryside and the charm of the nearby village. The modern building seamlessly integrates a unique museum concept, making our stay educational as well as relaxing. Breakfast on the terrace, even on a cool, foggy morning, was a highlight, with a delectable buffet that catered to all preferences, including vegan options. The hotel's location is perfect for families, featuring a fantastic children's playground that kept my little one entertained. Each room is designed for comfort, equipped with modern amenities, and offered breathtaking mountain views. Though we only stayed one night, the serene atmosphere and the opportunity for activities like hiking and skiing left us wishing for more time to explore. Bretterhotel truly epitomizes a luxury wellness escape, blending relaxation with the beauty of nature, and I can't wait to return.
